The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is warning parents and caregivers not to buy or serve certain pureed fruit pouches marketed to toddlers and young children because the food might contain dangerous levels of lead. Children who have eaten WanaBana apple cinnamon fruit puree pouches should be tested for possible lead poisoning, the agency said. Four children in North Carolina were found to have high levels of lead in their blood linked to the puree products, health officials said. Lead exposure can seriously harm children's health, causing damage to the brain and nervous system and slowed growth and development. There is no known safe level of lead exposure, the AAP said.

Also, toddler drinks are different than medical formulas prescribed for specific conditions, such as heart disease or problems digesting certain foods. The group also wants requirements to ensure the products are not linked to regulated infant formula or sold next to formula. ROME, Aug 5 (Reuters) - An American publishing executive died after being knocked overboard in a boating accident off the Amalfi Coast in southern Italy, the Association of American Publishers (AAP) said. Adrienne Vaughan headed the U.S. division of British publishing group Bloomsbury (BLPU.L), best known for the Harry Potter novels. "Adrienne Vaughan was a leader of dazzling talent and infectious passion and had a deep commitment to authors and readers. Prosecutors in the southern port city of Salerno are investigating how the accident happened. Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera reported the skipper of the motorboat was placed under investigation and initially tested positive for substance use.

SYDNEY, June 26 (Reuters) - A Russian diplomat squatting on land set aside for a future Russian embassy in Australia has left after a court ruled that Moscow had no claim to the site near the national parliament in Canberra. A Russian diplomat subsequently moved into a temporary building on the site and police were unable to arrest him because he had diplomatic immunity, local media reported.
